Sometimes when we’re able to get away from the e Sometimes when we’re able to get away from the everyday, we can see things in a new light.

For our family, values, time, traditions, memories, and the like go a long way. We love to adventure and try new things, get outside and enjoy each other as well as our surroundings. It’s important to us that our boy see these things in action—not just hear us talk about them.

As for Mr. Gray and I, we’re a team. We spend a lot of intentional time making sure we are loving and serving each other well while working toward our common goals for our family and home.

I read an excerpt from @arianaince talking about sacrifices and goals, and it really resonated with me. We have always talked about “making choices” for the things we want. I can’t remember ever calling them a sacrifice, and she’s right, if you’re on the path to what you want, they’re not. (Even if they seem like it to someone else.)

Are you and your people on the same path? What’s important to your family? Where do your priorities lie? I’d be happy to talk this out with you if you’re not sure what this looks like or what I’m talking about. Shoot me a message!

I love displays of creativity and the process of things, and from the first meeting I went to about the possibility of @floatfest coming to our community in 2019, I was intrigued. The planning, the consideration, all the pieces were started. Then, over the past few weeks, we have gotten to watch as the actual physical set-up took place—from a regular ol’ pasture like so many of ours to a little city down by the river. I’m here for it.

Loved seeing so many Fest-ers out and about in our historic downtown this morning, too! I hope they’ll be back to see more of our little town.

Hats off to all those who worked hard to make it happen! 🎉

Oh—and if you saw @chancetherapper with his pick on stage, that was me. I saved it from demise when it fell from his golf cart last night. You’re welcome. 🙃
