I will never be sad about the fact that I was close by for so many years when this “baby” was a baby. I was down south during my undergrad when he was born. I left chemistry to go to the hospital and have been smitten ever since. 

Time and distance have stood in the way of so many things, but never my love and desire to be there.
Do you ever just know you’re doing exactly what Do you ever just know you’re doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing?

This picture is the embodiment of that for me. {Most of} my kids. My favorite person to do this ministry and work with. Big smiles on their faces from an inside joke that was captured perfectly. 

Of all the things I took from tonight, the big one for me is how much I love and appreciate my people.
They say it’s your birthday… Purse candles f They say it’s your birthday… 

Purse candles fail me for the second time in 2022. Getting back on the horse for full celebrations by tomorrow. I have to.
