Runt Rant: Break Down

Posted on March 24, 2014 by Mrs Gray / 0 Comment

When you run 13.1 miles with 1000+ people, you’re bound to see a thing or two to talk about. I’m not the runner who goes out dressed up and fancy fr...

Keep Runnin’

When I ran my first half, I was over the moon. It’s not something I ever thought I would be able to do. I thought I was going to run another last October,...

Lessons learned. Memories made. Work put in.

Baseball is a big part of our story, and we are so glad to be able to share it with the boy.

From band to the baseball field and back again. B From band to the baseball field and back again.

Big day yesterday with 1s in both band competitions and a 2-0 day on the field.

Today didn’t go the way we wanted on the diamond, but that’s a big part of the game.

I don’t want to remove the failure because it’s part of life. It’s what helps us grow. We don’t grow when life is easy and comfortable. Growth comes from working through the hard and getting better—not just in baseball but in life.

Full disclosure: it is a lot more fun when we win, though. 🙃 Grateful for these boys and this team to grow with.
