Eggstra Special Eggstravaganza!

Every year, a wonderful family in our hometown hosts a HUGE Easter party. When Baby Gray was born it was something to the effect of, “Congratulations! I can’t wait to meet him! Save Palm Sunday for me!” (Like she hasn’t been on my calendar for Palm Sunday for as long as I can remember.) Last year, we asked some of our really good friends to come with us, and this year, they came again. Shooby showed Baby Gray the ropes in the petting zoo.

Last year she got bit by a rabbit, but she didn’t seem to remember this year! (Thank goodness!) She checked out all the animals, but Baby Gray sat that one out. She also jumped in the bounce house, and Baby Gray thought that looked a like fun–next year.
In the backyard, they had two smaller areas with baby chicks, baby ducks, and some bunnies. Baby Gray and Mr. Gray checked out the chicks.  Baby Gray didn’t seem to remember how unfond of the chicks he was when we took his Easter photos.

The Eggstravaganza is definitely a sight to behold. I don’t know how many thousand eggs they put out, but it’s a bunch! Each year, they have people leave the eggs and they keep adding!

Baby Gray didn’t get to pick any eggs up, but between Shooby and WPM, he had plenty!

What a sweetie, that WPM! These two are going to be big buddies–I just know it!

We attempted to get a photo of Shooby and Baby Gray, but it didn’t work out so well.

Notice she’s “hiding” in her basket… It was full of yummy candy she wasn’t supposed to be eating right then. Sneaky, sneaky, Shooby!

I can’t wait until next year when Baby Gray will be more into it! He enjoyed chewing on the eggs this year, that’s probably better for his teeth than the candy he’ll want next year!

Thanks for a wonderful party!
