Of course, when I signed up for 31 days of blogging, I knew that would include Saturday and Sunday. It’s still weird, though, to plan having something on this little space seven days a week. Usually, if I post on Saturday or Sunday, it’s once in a blue moon (like last weekend when I was so excited about our camp out).
So here it is, Saturday, and I’m thinking about marriage, Saturdays, and why I’m usually not here. Well, Saturdays we try to make a family day. Mr. Gray works hard all during the week, and Saturdays are reserved for football trips, family time, or dates. We try to make Saturday a together day, either just for us–if we haven’t been able to get any lunch dates or date nights in during the week–or as a family.
During the fall, football is our family event. We all love it, and it’s a great way to getaway together and enjoy some fun! I ask Mr. Gray all the time what he would do if he had a wife who wasn’t into football (or–gasp!–wasn’t an Aggie). Thank goodness, there’s no need to worry with that!
What does your family do on Saturdays? Is is a family day or a work day?
I’m writing Marriage Matters as part of the #write31days challenge. Are you in? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to check your posts out!
