With Baby Gray increasingly more mobile, cuddle time has become limited, if not completely non-existent. He’ll barely sit in my lap unless I’m feeding him something! I had to get a little creative to get some quiet time with my boy.
To comp my time, each morning when Baby Gray first wakes up, I go into his room and climb into his crib with him. He’s still sleepy enough that he’ll let me give him a hug or two–or sometimes fall asleep on my chest–before we hit the ground running! Some mornings I get two minutes, others I get almost an hour. Either way, I treasure the time I get to spend with him in the mornings.
Mr. Gray thinks it’s hilarious on the weekend mornings when he can see me in there on the monitor, but I’ll do what it takes to get some quality quiet time with Baby Gray.
Plus, on those unfortunate mornings when Baby Gray wakes up at some crazy hour, it allows me to rest another minute or two! It’s a win-win situation.
