Mr. Gray was gone this weekend, so I decided Baby Gray and I would head to the airport after church to surprise him then have a little family date in Austin. Who doesn’t love a family date?
As we were wrapping up at church, I noticed Mr. Gray had called a few times and sent me a text. He must be bored waiting on his plane, I thought. It didn’t take long to realize that was not the case.
I grabbed lunch and headed home. It didn’t matter where he was, I was just happy he was back! And… when I got there, part of my date day awaited me!
He brought Amy’s!
I love that we had the same thoughts about surprising each other and enjoying some Amy’s Ice Cream on that lovely Sunday afternoon as we got our family was back together!
