Three to Be Me!

Last night I tucked two year-old Baby Gray in for the very last time.

Night

He woke up this morning, rip-roaring and ready to go. He hardly noticed the balloons in his room (granted, we’ve had balloons around since Sunday’s party) before heading straight out to go play.

I tried to sing to him, but he wasn’t really having that (he did let Uncle Clay and Annie sing to him, though). He loved that he got to help make sprinkle birthday pancakes, so there’s that.

He knows today is special and fun, even if he doesn’t quite get the whole birthday thing just yet. I always want him to know that we celebrate his life. We love him more and more each day and are so proud of the little boy he is becoming.

Today, sweet boy, on your third birthday, know that I love you so much. I can’t wait to see the plans God has for you for a life of abundance and joy. Run after Christ with your arms wide open and never lose the curiosity you have about Him.

Family

I can’t wait to see what year three has for us as a family!
