Chronic

Hi, I’m Mrs. Gray, and I’m a chronic race-runner.

What?

Running In

What I’m trying to say here is that I’m terrible at working out unless I’m training for something. I like to work out. I have fun. I like to lift. I’m good at it. It’s just not always highest on my priority list.

I had the chance to work with a personal trainer last week, and it was a blast. I learned some new things, did some things I’d done before, and left feeling energized. Too bad he can’t train me at 4:30 am, which is when I’d prefer to be doing it.

For now, I’m only meeting with him once a month for a couple of months. It takes time out of our family time since I have to do it in the evenings, and I don’t love that. I’m going to get more consistent, though. I’m going to start working out more regularly. I’ll just have to start putting it on my calendar–along with anything else that actually needs to happen around here.
