Timing is Everything

We’re running The Blue Bell Fun Run 10K Relay Saturday. I’m running the first leg, which is only a mile. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m slow. Slow. I was trying to pick a goal time for my short little trek, and I thought 10:30 per mile might be reasonable. Then I ran a mile and a half in 10:40 per mile yesterday. I guess 9:45 will be my goal time. I think that sounds a little steep, but what’s the use in a goal if it’s easy?
